A vendor proposed $22,500 to rebuild the websites for Elements Restaurant and Riverwoods Conference Center, $10,000 of it for the two website redesigns alone. Before recommending a decision, we did two things: we measured the vendor's own website, and we built the two sites ourselves.
Everything below was produced in a single morning using AI, working only from what is already public: the two live websites, their menus and floor plans, and public records. Every number on these pages was measured rather than asserted, and the method is published alongside it.
The Measurement Record
What We Measured On INN8's Own Website
Before recommending anything we measured the vendor's own site the way a browser sees it. Page weight, Core Web Vitals, structured data, accessibility, crawl files and the public entity record. Every figure carries its source and the date it was read.

Concept Site
Elements Restaurant
A five-page restaurant site built on the four elements the kitchen already runs on: a wood-fired oven, the Logan River through the glass, Cache Valley farmland, and the Bear River Range. Every dish and price is the real current menu.

Concept Site
Riverwoods Conference Center
Every room here is already named after a tree and nobody had ever drawn one. Eleven leaf marks become the wayfinding, the capacity chart and the identity at once. The enquiry form asks the 9 things a planner actually needs to answer, and filters the rooms live by guest count.

How these were measured. Home page in each case, uncached,
at 1440 by 900, median of three loads, full page after scrolling. Weight is transferred
bytes read from the browser's own network layer, and the identical method was used
for all three columns, so they are like for like. transferSize was
never used: it reports close to zero for anything already cached and would have understated
every figure here. All three were read on 2026-08-26. On arrival without scrolling, INN8's
page measures 6.92 MB.
Why there is no speed row. The INN8 page was loaded across the public internet. The two concept sites were served from a local loopback address, which carries no network transport at all, so their load times would look faster for a reason that has nothing to do with how they were built. Every row above is a property of what the browser receives, which does compare. Load time is not, so it is not shown.
What This Is, And What It Is NotRead This Part
- These are concept sites, not live sites. Nothing entered into any form is transmitted anywhere. There is no booking system behind them, no analytics, no cookies and no tracking of any kind.
- The content is real. 193 menu items with their real prices, 13 real spaces carrying every capacity their own site publishes, 9 of them, with nothing invented for the 4 it leaves blank, real hours and real addresses, all taken from the properties' own current websites.
- Most of the photography is real. 33 of the 36 photographs used are the properties' own. The rest are AI-generated concept images and every one of them is labeled where it appears.
- The measurement record states measurements only. It carries no assessment of the vendor, its work or its people, it names no individual, and any figure shown to be inaccurate will be corrected.
- This is a demonstration of capability, not a finished product. A real build would start from the property's own photography, its brand decisions and its booking systems. The point is what one morning produced, and what that implies about what the $22,500 was buying.
436 existing photographs were reviewed and 110 were rejected, most of them because they showed identifiable guests at real events. No recognizable face appears anywhere in this deliverable.
